Best iPad Headphones
I'll be honest with you, I hate the headphones that Apple provide with their devices. No matter if it's for the iPhone or iPod it's always those really terrible white earbuds that give off terrible sound quality and are down right uncomfortable in my ears. If apple can make such top quality products why can't they ship some half decent headphones with the items? So my first task when I buy one of their products is to find new headphones to go along with it. When I bought my iPad my intentions were no different. At least this time around Apple didn't send out those terrible headphones with the iPad! So what are the best iPad headphones out there?

How to Find the Best iPad Headphones
To find the best iPad headphones it really depends on what feels comfortable in your ear and what type of environment you're going to be using the device. At least we can rule out jogging unless you're planning on keeping it in your backpack? You should also take a look for customer feedback and reviews. Sites like Amazon are wonderful for this as you can access to first hand users who know the product and are either so impressed that they leave a glowing review or are so disgusted they feel the need to warn off anyone else about buying such horrible headphones! If you're a fan of audiobooks then you won't be too interested in headphones that give you excellent bass are you? Then again, if you're planning to use the iPad to make music then you'll be interested in getting a great range right across the spectrum. If you're a fan of movies, check out the headphones offering surround sound to increase that movie viewing experience all the more.
Westone 1 Headphones for iPad
Personally, I'm all about the comfort. Don't get me wrong, I want excellent sound quality too. But I have my headphones in my ears a lot and so I don't want it to feel like I've got something burning in there after an hour or so! The Westone 1 headphones are a great place to start. Although not the cheapest by any means, the sound quality is superb. My favorite feature is the sound isolating function which is great if you fly a lot. I'm really into making music with my iPad so being able to block out any external noise is a must have for me. Sitting on the train to work is a wonderful experience although I have got so caught up in the iPad that I've almost missed my stop! Although they are earbuds they are ergonomically designed and so the fit is great inside my ear.
Ultimate Ears Headphones for iPad
For a cheaper option check out the Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5vi Noise Isolating Earphones w/ Microphone which offer the same noise cancellation feature. These headphones are extremely popular with professional recording artists because of the quality of sound you get from them. They are designed to be worn for a long time and be extremely comfortable. So if you're a music make like me you wouldn't go wrong with these amazing headphones for the iPad.
I've only really scratched the surface with the best headphones for iPad and I could go on for many thousands of words reviewing them. Other excellent headphones which I haven't mentioned include the Westone 3 headphones and the infamous Turbine Monster headphones! If you chose any of these models you will be delighted with your purchase. Think about how you will use your iPad and then do some research from there as headphones are all designed for various environments and types of use.
